ABOUT THIS EXHIBITION
This exhibition follows Caroline, a young fictional character who takes us through this comprehensive body of work. The oil paintings, drawings, sculptures and video performance serve as metaphors for our primitive world. A world which can sometimes resemble a ‘circus’. This story is meant to showcase how similar our lives are to a circus and their characters. It also explores issues stemming from love, trust, neglect and the hurdles we are willing to go thru for acceptance, an applause, or nowadays: a LIKE.

In this performance I wanted to exploit the way many people feel enslaved to the instant gratification of social media and the hurdles they are willing to go thru for acceptance, an applause, or nowadays: a LIKE.
